Welcome to Paradise Pontoon Club, your premier pontoon boat rental service in Palm Bay, Florida. We prioritize the safety and satisfaction of our customers, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable boating experience. Before renting one of our boats, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our comprehensive policies and guidelines:

Rental Requirements:

​

1. Age and Boating License:

   • The designated boat operator must be at least 18 years old.

   • Florida law requires all operators born on or after January 1, 1988, to possess a valid Boating Safety Education ID Card issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). Please present your boating license or certificate upon arrival. Receive your temporary certification HERE.

2. Identification:

   • All renters and passengers must provide a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport, before boarding the boat.

3. Safety Orientation:

   • Prior to departure, all renters and operators are required to attend a comprehensive safety orientation conducted by our experienced staff. The orientation covers essential boating safety guidelines, emergency procedures, and the proper use of safety equipment on board.

Reservation and Cancellation:

​

1. Reservations:

   • Reservations can be made online through our user-friendly website or by contacting us at 321-222-0566.

   • To secure your reservation, we require a $175.00 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation Policy:

   • Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the scheduled rental date will receive a full refund of the deposit.

   • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled rental date will forfeit the entire deposit.

Rental Duration:

1. Standard Rental Period:

   • Our standard rental period is 8 hours.

   • Should you wish to extend your rental duration, please notify us in advance, and additional charges may apply.

   • Should you wish to return early please notify us prior to departing.

2. Late Returns:

   • Late returns may be subject to additional charges.

Security Deposit:

1. Security Deposit:

   • We do not require a security deposit prior to boarding and departure.

   • We do offer an optional damage deposit for $49.00, which will cover you up to $500.00 in damages, should they occur. Anything after $500.00 in damages will still be the renters responsibility. 

   • If you elect not to purchase the damage deposit, you will be responsible for the entire cost associated with the damages.

Boat Capacity:

​

1. Maximum Capacity:

   • Each boat has a maximum capacity of 12 individuals, including children of all ages. (2,200 lbs max weight including all gear and individuals) 

   • It is strictly prohibited to exceed the boat's maximum capacity for safety reasons.

Safety Equipment:

​

1. Life Jackets:

   • Life jackets are provided for all passengers, anyone 6 years old and under must wear a life jacket at all times while on board.

   • Ensure that all safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, flares, and whistles, is present and in good working condition before departure.

Boating Safety:

​

1. Safe Operation:

   • The designated operator is responsible for the safe navigation of the boat and must comply with all boating laws and regulations in Florida.

   • Operating the boat under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.

Weather Conditions:

​

1. Weather Awareness:

   • Before departing, check the local weather forecast and any advisories issued by relevant authorities.

   • In case of adverse weather conditions, consult with our staff for guidance on refund or rental rescheduling.

Environmental Responsibility:

​

1. Preserving the Environment:

   • Help us protect the beautiful Florida waters by avoiding sensitive areas and properly disposing of waste and trash.

   • Never throw anything overboard, including cigarette butts and plastic materials.

Emergencies and Breakdowns:

​

1. Emergency Contacts:

   • In case of an emergency or boat breakdown, contact us immediately at 321-222-0566.

   • We will provide assistance and instructions on how to proceed.

Pets and Smoking:

​

1. Pets and Smoking Policy:

   • Well behaved pets are permitted. You, the renter, are responsible for picking up after your pet. Please ensure that your pet does not cause any damage or leave stains on the boat. Please pick up after your pet in ALL areas while out and about, including islands. 

   • Any damages or stains found during our inspection will be the renters responsibility to cover in full. This includes charges for any repairs, cleaning, or replacements.

   • Smoking is permitted only in designated areas. Please pick up after yourself when you are through. 

   • Any damages, burns, etc. will be the renters responsibility to cover in full. This includes charges for any repairs, cleaning, or replacements.

1. Towing or Pulling Activities:

   • Our rental boats are not equipped for towing water toys, tubes, or other vessels. Engaging in any towing or pulling activities can cause damage to the boat and endanger the safety of passengers.

2. Operating the Boat Under the Influence:

   • Operating the boat under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substances impairing judgment is strictly prohibited by law. It poses a severe risk to the safety of everyone on board and violates Florida boating regulations.

3. Anchoring or Docking in Restricted Areas:

   • Anchoring or docking the boat in prohibited or restricted areas, such as protected marine reserves, wildlife habitats, or private properties, is strictly forbidden. Always stay in designated boating areas and follow the guidance provided during the safety orientation.

4. Littering and Disposal of Trash:

   • We uphold responsible boating practices, and all renters are expected to properly dispose of trash and waste. Never throw anything overboard, including cigarette butts and plastic materials. Use the provided trash receptacles to keep our waterways clean.

5. Excessive Noise and Disturbances:

   • To be respectful of fellow boaters and residents, refrain from creating excessive noise or disturbances while on board or near residential areas. Keep the volume of music or electronic devices at a considerate level.

6. Unauthorized Boat Modifications:

   • Renters are not permitted to make any modifications to the boat's structure, equipment, or layout. Any alterations may compromise safety and cause damage.

7. Transporting Hazardous Materials:

   • Transporting hazardous materials, substances, or any prohibited items on board is strictly forbidden. This includes flammable, explosive, or illegal substances.

8. Engaging in Reckless Behavior:

   • Reckless behavior, such as speeding, sudden maneuvers, or aggressive driving, is not tolerated. Always operate the boat safely and within legal speed limits.

Failure to adhere to these rules may result in penalties, termination of the rental agreement, and potential liability for damages or injuries.
